If you are ever lying on a beach with 80 billion grains of sand beneath you, 700 thousand ocean waves before you and you are still not impressed, I want you to think about this: The light you see reflecting from the stars is over one million years old.
But then, just before you start to feel like a mere blimp, in the gigantic scheme of things, remember this: Yes, you are small, but you are also irreplaceable and invaluable and miraculous. Those stars got nothing on you!
And my point is this....Today at Girl Scout camp I tied my legs together and pushed a wheelchair so a paralyzed little girl could do the 3 legged race. We got 2nd place and she cried out with joy. So if you think you cannot make a difference just being that 1 small person you are very wrong!
